In March 2016, we opened our Shared Service Center for Finance in Kraków. We employ 180+ specialists who support Zurich's Finance teams around the world, striving to deliver best-in-class Financial Accounting & Reporting (FAR), Planning & Performance Management (PPM), and Financial Solutions Management (FSM).

Our Shared Service Center for Finance in Kraków is fully supported by a rigorous SOX control environment and risk management framework, helping to provide controlled high-quality delivery and improved efficiency in our processes. All this helps maintain a high level of services, strong industry and process expertise, innovative solutions, effective stakeholder partnerships whilst keeping in line with the Zurich Culture experiences in all of our offices around the world.

Our focus in Kraków

As our Shared Service Center for Finance in Kraków develops, so do our tasks and processes. We are now taking on more complex work in Financial Accounting and new countries and transitions are regularly added. We are looking for people who are keen to develop and grow with us and we have a wide and expanding range of exciting career development opportunities to offer.

Our Office

In March 2016, we moved to the brand new office complex, the Quattro Five Building (pictured left), which is part of the Quattro Business Park. Our office space offers a modern, ergonomically-designed working environment in easy reach of Kraków’s city center.

To help with Communication, Collaboration and Innovation, our office is made up of 4 different Dynamic Working Zones (pictured below) allowing each employee to work in the most effective way, whether as individuals or in teams. We have parking for cars, bicycles and showering facilities on site, and a furnished kitchen for our employees to use throughout their working day.

Each employee is provided with a company laptop which can be “docked” in any of the dynamic workstations around the office. These workstations are equipped with two large widescreen monitors and a deskphone. We also have a softphone installed on to each laptop, allowing us to stay in contact with anyone - whether we are sat at a dynamic desk, working in one of our meeting rooms, or working remotely, on an International transition or at working at home.

Since opening in Kraków, we have regularly hosted Finance Workshops on-site. We have welcomed Senior Management and Leadership team members from around the world, including the Group CFO, Group COO and a number of country and regional CFO’s, offering employees a great chance to meet and share ideas with such people

We are growing!

Building on from our success in 2016, in 2017 we will be growing! We have an additional 100 dynamic workstations and dynamic zones in another newly completed office, Astris (pictured below) which is less than 5 minute walk from the Quattro Five Building.
