thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk is a global competence and development center delivering business processes for thyssenkrupp companies around the world. We are the Global Shared Service center of thyssenkrupp – one of the largest GSS centers in Tri-City. In the future we will be also the biggest center within the worldwide operating GSS organization network of thyssenkrupp shared service centres. We provide services in the areas of Finance & Accounting (FI), Information Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR) and Real Estate Management (RE).

To our thyssenkrupp group companies, located all over the world, we provide standardized services in the following areas:

  • Finance and Accounting - work in this team consists of handling invoicing, receivables, liabilities, ledger, Master Data (data management for global suppliers and customers) and controlling. Our specialists provide service to customers all over the world (e.g. Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore) in many languages, i.e. English, German, Spanish and Hungarian;
    • The controlling team performs coordinating and supporting functions in the scope of tasks which supervise the process of achieving the financial result. Furthermore, it deals with the professional interpretation of numbers and relations of thyssenkrupp with subordinate business units.
  • HR - specialists employed in this department deal with international travel expenses and employees’ queries from different countries.
  • Real Estate - the team is responsible for administrative support of the property management process.
  • IT - within the IT department there are following departments, namely:
    • IT Service Management - a team responsible for managing IT services provided to thyssenkrupp by global vendors (e.g., network infrastructure, servers, systems). Specialists who control the quality of our services are supported by the Global Control Center.
    • Global Application Management  – a team of IT specialists and consultants responsible for the global support and application development for the entire thyssenkrupp group (particularly including SAP solutions).
