Who are we?

Since 1937, we have been a leading distributor of Electronic, Electrical & Industrial components and supported generations of engineers with products for all types of applications.
With more than 80 years of history and experience behind us, we've seen technologies evolve, and inspirations come to life.

Whatever the innovation or industry, we remain committed to supporting the engineers of tomorrow and making amazing happen.  As a £1.95 billion global distributor and FTSE 250 company, serving as RS Components worldwide, and Allied Electronics & Automation in the Americas: United States, Canada, Mexico, and Chile, we operate in 32 countries, shipping 50,000 daily orders to over 750,000 customers worldwide.

Our Culture

At RS Components, we continue to build our culture around our inclusion strategy, which focuses on five key priorities: Race, Gender, LGBTQ+, Disability wellbeing and Mental health wellbeing.

Our people are important to us and help keep our global organisation moving, so when it comes to how we work and the culture we create, our aim is to make sure each person is empowered to bring their true self to work every day.

We don’t believe in quick fixes and acknowledge that sustainable and authentic change takes time, but we will always champion diversity, inclusivity, accessibility and representation within our culture.
