Stage 1: Your Application
The recruitment process starts with your online application. All open positions are advertised online on the job offers tab. Prior to applying, you can visit our GS careers site to prepare.
Stage 2: Phone Screen
Upon moving to the next stage in our application process, one of our HR team members will reach out to you and ask about your professional experience, academic background, desired area of development, motivation and expectations. This is your chance to ask any details about the role and the recruitment process at Goldman Sachs.
Stage 3: Onsite Interview
Once the initial screening is complete and the team confirms we are moving forward with your application, we will schedule an onsite interview for you to complete a competencies assessment. This gives you the opportunity to present your best skills, discover our office and meet our people. Should you be unable to visit us in person, we will organize a video conference.
Stage 4: Providing Feedback
Having completed all interviews at this stage we will provide a decision on your application within a month of your last interview and from there onboarding will begin.
Stage 5: Welcome!
On your first week you will take part in a new joiners program where you will have an introduction to our business, structure, strategy, and culture.
